TERMS OF SHIPMENT

General terms

The books advertised on the pharmbio.org website are published by Oakleaf Academic Publishing house and provided on here as a service to enable their sales to users of the pharmbio.org website.

By "we", "us" or "Oakleaf Academic" is in the following text intended "Oakleaf Academic Publishing house" doing business under the Swedish limited company Genetta Soft Aktiebolag registered under Swedish registry number 556651-0011.

By "purchaser" or "customer" is in the following text intended the person, entity or company purchasing an item from Oakleaf Academic.

By "book order form" is in the following text intended the ordering web-page provided at pharmbio.org through courtesy of oakleafacademic.com.

By "goods" or "package" is in the following text intended any item(s) sent by Oakleaf Academic to a customer.

By "destination country" is intended the country opt by customer to where the goods ordered is to be sent/is sent.

For sake of information Oakleaf Academic is independent identity from Uppsala University and Uppsala university is not involved in the sales of books advertised on pharmbio.org whereas these book(s) are used in courses at Uppsala University and elsewhere, as well.

Any notification in respect to these TERMS OF SHIPMENT shall be mailed to info@oakleafacademic.com or to Oakleaf Academic's registered business address in Sweden.

Terms for trackable secured shipping

On selection of trackable secured shipping in the book order form, and upon receipt of payment, the package will be sent with a transporter provider so that it will be trackable using a tracking service. The tracking service may be provided by the original transporter of Sweden, and/or by a local transporter in the receiving country.

On failure of delivery within the time limits stipulated by the respective transporter used, the shipment is secured so as long the transporter refunds us for the failed shipping and it will allow us to re-ship the goods. Such re-shipment will, however, be limited to only one time and will not be applicable in case of force majeure, or other unforeseeable events or circumstances which makes it impossible or unreasonable to fullfil this obligation. Such circumstances may be, but are not limited to, accidents, pandemics, strikes, hurricanes or other extreme weather conditions, floods, earthquakes, governmental or parliamental acts, or acts by other entity/entities having or taking control of a territory, riots, war or war like situations, data-losses or computer failures, and the alike. Moreover, for the case that the transporter for any reason fails to refund us for the cost of the failed shipment this obligation of re-shipment will not apply.

For a re-shipment to be instituted Oakleaf Academic must first have been obtain the information from the transporter that the package was lost, could not be delivered or has been returned. For the case that the fault for failure of delivery is on purchaser, e.g. due to, but not limited to, the purchaser's failure to collect or receive the package, the purchaser has given the wrong address, has moved, the given address does not exist, or due any other faulty information, the obligation of re-shipment shall not apply.

On top of the stimulation of the preceding paragraph having been fullfiled, for a re-shipment to be instituted, the purchaser must have notified us not later than 30 days from the date of shipment that she/he/it has not receive the goods.

Terms for non-tracked shipping

For the case that customer has not selected the trackable secured shipping option upon ordering via the book order form, the goods will, upon receipt of payment of the purchased goods, be sent with a regular non-trackable postal service. While this mode of shipment usually works well for most countries around the world it is slower, and for some countries not a good option. It generally works well for industrialized countries, while less well for other places. When the customer is aware that the postal service in his area is insecure, we strongly recommend the selection of trackable secured shipping option for shipment.

On failure of the transporter to deliver any goods shipped by Oakleaf Academic, Oakleaf Academic will not have any obligation to refund or re-ship the goods. Thus, the entire risk for a loss of goods is for this case entirely borne by the customer.

The customer may anyhow ask Oakleaf Academic for re-shipment of the goods on the condition that the customer pays Oakleaf Academic's cost for manufacture of the goods, the transportation cost and the administrative costs of Oakleaf Academic' re-shipment of the goods.

Note on shipping within Sweden

For sake of information shipping of goods by Oakleaf Academic within Sweden is generally undertaken using a trackable service.

Note on customs handling

For sake of information handling of goods by your destination country's customs and authorities is out of our control. Eventual duties, fees, or other costs incurred by your destination country's customs or authorities resides on purchaser. Moreover, we are not responsible for any action of destination country's customs and/or authorities actions, including failure of releasing goods, failing to deliver goods, seizing goods, destroying goods, resending the goods, or the alike, wether such action is legally or illegally conducted. Oakleaf Academic Publishing house will not compensate purchaser of any of such acts as stated in the foregoing sentences.
